Web Content Specialist

One of the premier manufacturers and multichannel distributors with a dedicated sales division, plus catalogs, websites and over 50 store locations nationwide is currently searching for an experienced Web Content Specialist for our South Los Angeles headquarters. They are a family owned and operated company that has been in business for over 50 years. The position will be based out of the headquarters which is located near the Long Beach area.

Successful candidates will have experience in website maintenance and development, managing projects and strategic initiatives. One of the primary projects will be an upgrade of the CMS product that they are current using. They are looking at products like Drupal, Joomla, etc and would like someone with a background in products of this level.

Responsibilities & Requirements
Responsible for updating and maintaining all aspects of the website
Responsible for working with various departments to coordinate and execute product and site updates, formatting and uploading content to the company web servers, and handling all additional editing and formatting details
Quality control, communication to all involved parties, and attention to detail is imperative
Must be computer savvy and have a working knowledge of HTML
Demonstrated ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks simultaneously
Strong customer focus and outstanding communication skills required

Qualifications
College degree in Computer Science, Business MIS Degree or equivalent experience
Keen eye for detail
Web Content Management expereince
Previous website maintenance experience using a Content Management System (CMS)
Excellent communication skills and a creative outlook
