Can anyone recommend me a free web audio player? Not a flash generated player because for some reason, I can't get flash players to work. I have been searching around but just couldn't find one. It doesn't have to be fancy. A simple one would be perfect. Many thanks.
I like jlgui from http://www.javazoom.net/jlgui/jlgui.html Its an open source java applet, it plays mp3, ogg and streams. It has a nice Gui and works fine for me. cheers
It will be hard to find a good one that is not flash because new stuff is all in flash, and old stuff isn't which means the older ones also look outdated. If you want to give flash another try, I would recommend http://www.macloo.com/examples/audio_player/ i used the tutorial to embed the audio on my podcast with no flash experience last year and was up and running in about 10 minutes...
