Can anybody tell me if there is any free web analysis tool, for telling visitor behavior, page views, unique visitors and click fraud detection. How about purchasing onestat.com? which one is best to use?

hey do you mean web stats?

    You can use google analytics

    You can also try statcounter.com

Both of them are script based, do not require a link back and are free ;)

I use Trace watch, awesome, I have to say but seems seldom people use it.

Statcounter is nice but it have limit of page views.

Google Analytics is also great but for seo reasons I don't recommend it.

Can you clarify this? I currently use Google Analytics, and am happy with the reporting offered. What's the effect on SEO?

You are exposing your information to Google to improve their algorithm so it can affect your ranking on Google.

For instance, if you have multiple website with similar topic, Google will detect it and not let both of them rank well in Google.

Google bought Urchin web analytics and renamed its -- yep -- Google Analytics. It was a paid service and now it's free. There is nothing really free. That the deal was probably worth around US$30 million and gives Google access to the stats of tons of websites.

    So I recommend tracewatch.
