Came across this while looking around the internet. Seems a bit crazy, but it does kind of seem realistic at the same time, will be interested to see what the next episodes include. Web 3.0
Really.... just came across it. Looks like a spam post if you ask me. Funny how this email address I found on the site looks like your username here: I also wonder what search eninge you use... b/c this site isn't index in Google, Yahoo or MSN.
Oversmart?? Their description of the future sound like Web 2.0 lite as a FireFox plug in. I was expecting everything will have biometrics so that as you enter a room a TV will know what you like and will pull it from a Tivo like system loaded with Google Ads. You will be able to wiggle your fingers like you are typing and holograms will appear infront of you displaying the WWWeb3pointOh. I think I am a better futurist or I might be in the future.
Wow! Well picked out smindsrt! That's great. I went to this guys blog to check it out (what a joke) but I wouldn't have accused him of being a spammer. Write back affihq! haha
that's pathetic didn't even make the effort to go beyond the default wordpress theme... and ooooooh, I can't wait for the next episode myself!!!
Well, anyone can just borrow the buzzword and add an extra version. But the ideas in that blog don't seem all that revolutionary at all. No, web 3.0 will be connected directly with your brain, via remote MRI sensors positioned around your house that detect your very thoughts. You just have to think about saying or doing something, and an avatar will pop up on your website, voicing exactly what you want. Or maybe doing a little dance, or whatever floats your boat.
Ugh, I hate all of these stupid buzz words. It's like blogs. Before blogs came along I was posting semi daily news on the front page of my site for years. Then all of the sudden the term "blog" jumps out of nowhere and what do ya know, everyone has a blog.
I know what you mean. The problem about those buzz words and blogging together is the fact that everyone with a blog.writes their own little article about what those buzz words are, even though they have no idea themselves. This ends up broadening the definition so much that we don't even know what it is anymore. Web 2.0 has just become a catagory which any site with a line of javascript trys to fit into. It's sad because it was such a cool concept at first!
