What is so good about web 2.0, and does anyone even know what web 2.0 is? I have read so much on it, but no one really tells you exactly what it is.
Yeah I have heard about it but I don't know what it means? I always thought something about being in the 2000's but I'm probably way off.
Refer's mostly to two new web trends: 1) New Technology - specifically AJAX, Ruby, and other funky platforms that have come out lately that enable some really cool stuff (i.e. changing page content without refreshing, etc). 2) Member-driven content - i.e. sites like Facebook where 99% of the content is provided by people who have accounts with them. (So forums, wiki's, are all part of it). Those are the core of Web 2.0. There's a few other things that some people consider part of it, but those are the ones just about everybody will agree on.
1. Web 2.0 is 2 ways communication. Web 1.0 is one way communicate by webmaster to visitor. 2. web 2.0 is visitor generate content. 3. web 2.0 refer to the online community
Also, 2.0 is a new style that gives the reader reasons to be more attracted both graphically and as readable content. It is more of a futuristic version of the old internet in the 90s.
Exactly. Web 2.0 is more on becoming interactive with your visitors. Not to mention all those fancy colors and soft fonts embellishing your website.
