    Guest blogging isn't dead at all. If we just see what Matt Cutts exactly said. Quoted below:
    So if you are going for PBNs or spammy blogs with loads of keyword stuffing low quality 300-500 word articles....then yes, those are dead already.

    Matt Cutts has said before that guest blogging is not useful anymore (for SEO purposes, of course it can still direct people to you)... can someone please inform me what Web 2.0 is?

    Web 2.0 and Guest blogging both are good, but you can focus more on Guest Blogging.

    For quality backlinks web 2 posting is very helpful other than Guest blogging, & also Guest blogging in not idea for promotions.
