When i first bought this website it was getting an average of 30 hits a day, after a month of fixing the website up (i.e cleaning the code and changing the look) it now receives about 111 average hits a day.

Within the first month of purchase(which was around the 6th of november) it got 600+ uniques, but on the month of december it recieved 3,000+ unique hits, TRIPLE the hits it received in the first month.

I also just recently implemented a script which integrates YouTube with the website using YouTube's API. So now when you search for an artist, album or track you have a selection of videos to watch on the website via YouTube, therefore you don't lose any traffic and your users stay put on the website while viewing the video.

The site is SEO friendly and currently has over 2,000+ external links from Google and Google images.

owntype: The point of the site is mostly based on the revenue and SEO. It's one of those 'out of the box', 'plug n play' websites. The website does all the work itself, the SEO brings in the traffic and those users bring in your revenue.

Users are able to search for artists and albums. For example, the user wants to find out more songs from one artist, they can easily do that with one click of a button.

 

How can you sell a domain that totally depends on you redirecting the traffic from creativenine.com.

You could decide tomorrow to stop. The buyer has no security at all?

dragons5: The artists are added by last.fm, meaning you don't have to lift a finger. The data is pulled via last.fm's API automatically.
