Ok, I'm still looking for the one. Let's try this.... A small cow, dressed in slight military gear. Think "the worms" (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Worms_(computer_game)) meets a cow. Add that design to the Web 2.0 font. So far the best font designs have been the ones that include the grass below the logo. I know I know, I said earlier that we did not need to include the "cow" character but I still don't feel like these are hitting hard enough. I will be ending the contest by the end of day today. This means everyone will have until 11:59pm to get in the last entry. If we cannot find a winner then I will have to go back to the drawing board. Thanks to everyone who participated.
Barbie, I love the snorting but I still think it looks too childish. The logo is not hitting me either. Check out zmaja's logo or DynamicMk's grass logo. They have the idea that I'm going for but something is missing and it could very well be the army cow.
Zmaja that is better. Can we see it with the cow being worked above the name? Drop the pink and orange, and try red/gray as substitutes. Swaymedia - This doesn't follow the formats that I am requesting, but it was a valiant effort. Thanks for the great submission.
Barbie, Your definitely on the right track! I found this image to give you all a better feel for what we want. Unfortunately I am not sure of the original source for this image, so I cannot simply take it. However, something similar would not hurt... http://www.rampantgames.com/blog/uploaded_images/ACSmall-782008.jpg
Unfortunately, However, Zmaja came the closest to what I am looking for. Zmaja I will be sending you a pm with some more information on the logo. Hopefully we can get to a final piece. Thanks to everyone else for the great submissions.
Oh noes... too late Here's what I had been working on for the past few hours. It's in no way complete, though. [Image is attached] It would appear I cannot yet post live links... If the cow (head) interests you this is... well... all my work so we could definitely find a way of changing the artwork around. Please note: Most of this is 3D, as is the head and the letters. Adjustments were done in Photoshop, however. Edit: Whether you will acknowledge new submissions or not I'll still complete this tomorrow morning. It's not even close to what I had envisioned yet, but I have to go to sleep, unfortunately.
