web 2.0 first attempts, c/c please

please could I have some useful c/c for my first attempts at a web 2.0 layout:

I like the second one better for sure because the emblem behind the text just seems to go better. One suggestion is to slightly darken the colors in the "Boo-yah." so that the text stands out more, increasing the visibility.

 

I like the 2nd one better. The first one looks like its saying "Doo-yah"

 

Yes, the second one is better, because of ur font choose is correctly.

If u want to apply web 2.0 to ur works, u have to choose right fonts.

I would also change the font in "link" and make it something more trippy to match the main logo.

one looks too techy then the other.

Definitely the second one. The logo font is bigger / easier to read, plus it blends nicer.
