I am looking to join the WealthyAffiliate 2.0 program but want to hear some more success stories that are answering the questions below...

    1. How fast did WealthyAffiliate start making you money?
    2. What all do they teach you?
    3. What are a few example techniques of advertising and marketing they teach?
    4. How helpful is the community?
    5. Is the $30 a fair price for what you get?
    6. Does it require you to invest any kind of money in order to make money back?
    7. What is the best method you've learned to make money from WA 2.0?

Thanks for everyone and the respones to my question...

I personally like WA, it is now 3.0 though =)

    To answer your questions:
    1. I made money after about 2 or 3 weeks, can't remember (been a member since the beginning of October)
    2. They have an 8 week course (that is now self-pace since 3.0) that teaches you the basics of AM, and ways to promote products, wether it's paid or free ways (bum marketing, ppc, etc), importance of list building, how to start your list, how to set up a list, how to find a niche, how to find hot clickbank products, how to come up with targeted keywords, and I am sure there are more I am leaving out.
    3. Like before they teach you how to properly do PPC, email marketing, article marketing, squidoo, etc.
    4. The community is the lifeline of WA, the members there are a lot more open about stuff than anywhere else I have seen. If you have trouble with a PPC campaign, if you so desire you can pm/email Kyle or Carson and they will log into your account and take a look and give you some helpful advice on how to make it profitable.
    5. I think it's a fair price just for the tools they provide like keyword lists, templates (although they are pretty basic), keyword research tools, etc.
    6. It doesn't require you to spend anymore than you want to. I'm a little ADD so I need quicker stimulation and so I chose PPC but wisely chose my keywords to have the highest possible ROI.
    7. I guess it would be the style of landing page that you need to be the best at converting and they drive home the need for a mailing list. Why throw away your hard earned PPC click money on one visit, entice them to opt-in to your list and have them for life.

now what do I dislike about WA? I wish they would broaden their templates, etc on more than just Clickbank, the techniques are able to be used on all types of networks though.

So they provide you with landing pages and everything? Also, how do you promote the stuff? Like, do they give you a list of programs to use or can you use just about any type of program in an affiliate network?

I have $43.00 right now and I have my internet on for at least another 2 weeks. Is there any hope to make any money between now and the end of this month (or at least within' the next 2 weeks?) Let me know... I may have more questions but it seems too good to be true and what gets me is that so many people are saying it is an interesting offer and that it actually works. :)

well for the first week I would say just about everyone there has information overload, there are so many posts and info to go through, then the second week is when you can really get focused and started.

here is a screenshot of the keyword lists section notice they have many different industries to choose from to promote as well as certain products in each category in each industry. I would like to think if you seriously worked at it you can start to make money in 2 weeks but you will have to focus and keep in mind you will have to wait for a month or so for an actual check/deposit from CB or other affiliate network.

^^ Good stuff, I will definitely give them a shot as soon as my cable bill is caught up (so my internet is on for a while) and as soon as my taxes come back I will give them a shot. I hope to not be disappointed :)

WealthyAffiliate is very good. I just didn't have the patience for their course, and I had the same problem of finding a good niche, as usual.

I'm seeing everyone say positive things (and nothing but positive things) about WealthyAffiliate so yeah, its a good program but I'd like to make money within' 2 weeks if possible and right now, I don't have the funds 'nor the stableness to it, at least not YET!

I'll give it a shot as soon as I clear my cable bill up of the $337 that is left on it and everything. We'll wait until then... but keep the stories and testimonials coming :)

I just joined 15 minutes ago... lets see how long it takes me :)

Can somebody give me some help, there is so much... I don't even know where to begin

I hope this doesn't turn to be a negative review but I've been on here for almost 2 hours and have yet to learn any possible ways or ANYTHING about affiliate marketing and how to make money online. The articles and everything have poor grammar (so its like you have to read it over 5-6 times to understand the right grammar and understanding.)

    I'll keep everyone posted...

hmm I in the heart of the bible belt so I wouldn't notice bad grammar lol. Have you taken a look at the 8 week course? and then take a look in the $500 challenge posts in the forums. Like I said the 1st week is info overload, looks like that is what your problem is at the moment.

^^ Either that or I was cranky from being tired :p

I read Week 1 Action Plan, Week 2 is still 6 days away from now.

On the topic of the $500 challenge, it doesn't seem like anything too compelling to me, and its not teaching anything. All its talking about is a contest or challenge which I'm not interested in and has nothing to do with HOW TO make money online.

hmm that's strange I can click on any week and it let's me in so I thought with 3.0 it lets you advance through the weeks at your own pace.

The $500 challenge was a contest for members to create helpful posts to help people along and the most helpful won 500 dollars. The winner was thadroe.
I don't know how knowledgable you are with Affiliate Marketing so I don't know where to point you.
Have you setup a PPC campaign before? Are you an affiliate of any networks out there?

^^ Nope, I can't skip ahead so that sucks.

Anyway, I've never setup a PPC campaign, been too nervous to lose money :p But hey, I've got to get used to it sooner or later. I might do it as soon as I get some more website work and make some more money, I plan to also use the $50 voucher they offer for YSM and find the $50 voucher for the Google and throw them both on there and see what happens.

But before I do, I need to plan a solid marketing campaign including designing a landing page worth considering. How is anyone on there making money? I am pretty knowledgable in terms of how to generate ways to make money (BANS, PPC, Article Marketing, Forum Signatures, Blogging, etc.) Care to share anymore...

The only thing I don't like is that many don't allow PPC, especially the good (or at least) my favorite offers... that part is wack.

On the terms of affiliate networks, yes, I am with almost 7-8 different ones. I am going one by one and focusing on which is giving me the best turnaround, right now I am watching CJ who is giving me a good conversion. I plan to slide into Azoogle a bit and test the waters and see what happens. That'll be in the coming weeks though, not now...

    $370.00 at CJ now... :)

What a shame... I really am beginning to doubt the possibility of Wealthy Affiliate working... I've been with them for under a day and here are some flaws that I dislike.

    1. The grammar there is so bad that it makes me waste time a bit by having to go back and re-read what I had just read to get a complete understanding of what they are saying.

    2. I have been here for 1 day and have yet to learn anything at all

    3. There is too much information. Sure all of this information is good but what sucks is when your reading a tutorial, you'll have to take a break from one tutorial to read another one that is further into the progress chain, skpping a whole bunch.

For example: You reading Lesson 2 in the Junior level, in order to continue reading it and understanding, you have to read Lesson 5 in the Advanced level, then go back and complete Lesson 2 in the Junior level.

I see success on the forums, but many are doing Article Marketing or PPC and are using methods that anybody would already know without having to pay $30.00

I'll keep everyone updated but I'm doubting the program, for NOW...

Alright... bottom line, I'm done for now... I'd be better off sticking to what skills I have now and I could probably learn more (IMO) here faster then what I could there...

Are you from the US? and I guess WA is for more for the struggling affiliate marketer, and you have a month so you never know, it may turn around for you. Do you have a list? Do you have something to offer potential subscribers to your list? What is your forum name at WA?

^^ Hey, Carson contacted me and apparently they don't issue refunds. I don't know why because it doesn't say that anywhere on the site. Anyway, I am giving it 1 month to make me successful. Being someone who has been successful in their internet marketing on their own in their first month of IM... I feel like the information provided is not going to teach anything and as I said, the grammar is bad and needs to be corrected. And that's from the point of view of a "customer."

NOW... on terms of learning anything, there is soooooo much information that in order to be successful, it seems one would have to read a majority of it to start earning money within' the first month but with the grammar and having to re-read it, that might seem impossible for the absolute beginner. Just my .02 cents...

I'll admit there's a spelling mistake here and there. Kyle and Carson could certainly do a little more proofreading. But don't you think you're making some awfully quick judgments after having been there less than a day? So the material isn't laid out exactly the way you think it should be. Big deal. Is every book you buy written in the style that you would personally write it in?
