I'm a member of Wealthy Affiliate, and I've gotten a huge amount of useful information out of their training. The price is about to go up substantially, so you should jump in soon if you decide to go with that program. They also have a good affiliate program, and I'm paying for my membership through that :) The only thing I would caution about Wealthy Affiliate is that it is GREAT information for those starting out. It's really the very comprehensive fundamentals, so if you are already successfully making money it may not be advanced enough.

At WA you'll get more in terms of training and tools, but Chris is good too.

However I do recommend you try the free tutorials that Wealthy Affiliate provide first for free (click on wealthyaffiliate.com in below to access them)

    Well, i'd go with neither.

I was part of WA for a while. Like i dunno 3 months or so. I learned a lot. But just about articles and ppc, and emails. a little bit about sites.

    Very useles IMO.

I suggest you join a private forum.

Warriorforum is pretty awesome and you get your money back within 5 minutes once you upgrade.

Not advertising for them, just a personal opinion.

WA might change and offers great info, however IMO it's too expensive and you can get "coaching" from a forum itself as well. Not to mention they don't REALLY offer coaching at WA... just a pm response system.

I highly suggest you go with warriorforum. It's got 50x the information and the price is only 37$ to upgrade to the private section that has waaaaayyyyy more than 10K$ info inside it.

Whatever you choose, choose wisely. I would definitely go with the ONE TIME payment of Warrior, but WA in itself offers a few cool tools that Warriorforum doesn't....

You can find those tools online somewhere else anyways, and yes for free.

Hope this helped you get a better view on the WA side, haven't heard and or joined the other guy.

    Enjoy

    David

I learned a lot at WA, but it was mostly from the forum. You can pick up the same info by judiciously scanning what's available for free. It seems to me that the price bump, almost double will not be worth it. You can only learn so much from posting questions and participating in the conversation. The Warrior Forum however has continued my education and that is basically free. The newbie stops being a newbie by putting things into action and making them work.

I agree entirely. The Warrior War Room is fantastic value for a $37 one time payment.

The cost for Wealthy Affiliate is going up on June 7th, from $39 to $97 per month which is a very steep increase. At least the Chris Farrel Membership can be used for 7 days costing only $4.95.

WA is the best starting point, yeah. But have you guys heard of Affili-It? It's less than half of WA's new price. They also teach Facebook, PoF, Friendster, Google, Yahoo and more PPC with CPA offers.

I've used both WA and Chris Farrell. Customer service on both ends are great. I think Kyle and Carson as well as Chris Farrell would get along well. They both think alike. They both have similar attitudes towards their students. Both have forums that are really helpful an cheery. I like that because I hate hostile forums. No sense in paying to be harassed.

WA has been around for 5 years. It's very much technology-based with their Rapid writer system and web hosting. This makes it easier for the newbie, so they don't have to go digging around on the Google keyword tool for find low competition keywords. Their system does it for you. All of that is included in the price of $39 a month. I understand now it's going up to $97 a month and considering the technology they use, I can see why. It's about time someone knocked Maverick Money Makers out the park. I can't stand that site.

Chris Farrell began his program in March of 2009. He doesn't have as sophisticated an interface as WA, but there's a ton of useful content at your finger tips. Literally tons. Recently he put in a section called "Your First 33-days Here". I'm glad he put this in there because I've tried close to ten programs, and other than WA, none of them had a sense of order. It was pick and choose where you needed work, but I was still as confused.

98% of Chris Farrell's tutorials are by video which he recorded and demos himself. What I love about his teaching style is that he breaks down every single concept from Aweber, to setting up your webhost, to building up your list, FTPing files from your computer, etc., it's all done very step-by-step and easy to understand. I never knew how to create a squeeze page until Chris taught it.

He's a great teacher. People whose English is a second language claim they feel comfortable with his teaching style. Plus, Chris is very organized, meticulous and practical. Most of his technique is centered around list building. He does touch upon SEO, article marketing, video marketing and other forms of gaining traffic, but list-building is his focus, regardless of the niche you're in. Web hosting is also included in Chris Farrell's program. If you have a PC, you get a link cloaker and ebook brander, too.

What's also great about Chris Farrell are the webinars he has with guest speakers. He invites some pretty cool, savvy people to talk and reveal their expertise in traffic, article marketing, social media, etc. Chris is very cheery and positive, too. I like that. Chris's course is $37 a month. It came up from $27 a month. But you can try it our for $4.95 for 7 days.

So which do I prefer? I prefer Chris Farrell's program because I love his teaching style and the amount of content he over delivers.

However, Kyle and Carson are also great in WAU. They've been doing this for a while. They're focused and their whole system is streamlined very well. If you like the concept of article marketing, then WAU has the edge on that.

Either one you choose, you should do well. I'd recommend them both.

Wealthy Affiliate has some of the WORST PPC training around.

I mean, the Google Search Network? Is that the best they can come up with? LOL

I would stay away from WA. They are really good at pressing the right buttons to make you want to join, but in the end they don't offer the quality goods that you couldn't learn in other places, for substantially less or even free.

Wealthy Affiliate hands down kick ass, as a member of two years I can attest to this.

    And it's always evolving

I have found this review very useful. I am a member of Wealthy Affiliate and have been for over a year, but have been looking at the Chris Farrell site and am thinking it seems to be a lot more straight forward. I like wealthy Affiliate but do struggle sometime to get answers to my queries.

I may join both for a while to find out the real benefits of both, but eventually will have to give one or the other up as it could work out quite expensive to keep both going

I don't think I've ever cruised google to find a forum discussing a product that I purchased and felt so compelled to register for the sake of leaving a very well thoughtout, detailed, nicely formatted novel of a review........... I guess thank you for your first post here..... However, I'm sure most people are discrediting this post due to the fact that you are not a tenured member here. You signed up solely to post a review which is highly skeptical..

Chris Farrel was one of my first mentors. Purchased his membership site over 5 years ago.. Also paid over $2 grand for Chris Mentor Me with his personal training. Really helps see what is going on and what you need to do. I would personally go with Chris's membership site.
