I've noticed on the Internet that everyone claims they want to "help" you... or do they really? Well, if you own a home-based business, you know that our main mission is to help other people. However, not everyone has our personal interests at heart. Choices, way too many choices, and "gurus", more gurus than I thought ever existed, all wanting to "Help" you succeed in your business, marketing, copywring, prospecting, lead generation,... I could go on forever. It almost makes me dizzy just thinking about it. How to do we know who to trust? I mean, if you look at everything in front of you when you do your research, you'll notice that there are differences in the types of people who are legitimate and those that really just want to cash in on your confusion. Typically, the REAL legitimate helpers are those that not only offer up their knowledge, but also give you a way to contact them. They also tend to limit the amount of FREE products they shell out, and their ad space on their capture page, Ezine or newsletter is more relevant and smaller. The more ads you see on a website or in an email, the more money THE business owner makes, and the more YOU get confused. It's not only frustrating, but can also cost you in the end. Point being, I'm not a "guru", but I get extremely turned off by the plethora of garbage ads and inundating FREE products. Keep it simple! People like simple. Studies have now proved that our brains can only focus on one thing at a time. Multitasking is not in our cards and should not be in our ads if we want our reader to feel like we mean business - meaning we really want to HELP!
