Hello, Over the past few months more and more stickies/anoucements are posted limited us from buying sell and trading.. So i think we need a couple more.. I mean only 6 might as well make it 10 adding stickies such as "Threads that contain the letter A are not allowed here" "If your product is useful please use sitepoint" Things like that. Obviously 1 sticky containing all information would only be common sense but nope here at Digitalpoint we want to look cluttered. Well have to say good work
you might want to post in feedback/suggestions section what do you mean by 6-10 stickies? I think only 1 stickies will be fine with all information grouped or we will have 1st page stickies.
Yeah!! Most of the new threads go unnoticed... Just make a sticky and link to all the other current stickies and make them normal posts..
it wouldnt matter either ways most people in BST (especially in freebies section) do not even read the FIRST post if it is past 2-3 words so making them read a whole stickied thread, it'll be hard i tihnk "admin announcement" and "FAQ" are large enough to be seen and cant be missed at a glance (if there's intention to actually read) Dp does still have 6-7 stickies though http://forums.digitalpoint.com/forumdisplay.php?f=24
yeah i think 1 is fine like we had for the entire year or so i've been here.. I see no reason whatsoever to implement all these rules..
And you would think with the blindingly obvious titles like; Anything $5.00 or Lower Belongs in the Freebies Forum or Money/Currency Exchanges Are Not Allowed Here! people might read them, right? But noooo...
Exactly. I have made $xxxx from being here in the past year - so reading a few stickies isn't exactly much hardship for the return I've got. Mind you, I'm still silly enough to rack up a few bumping infractions
