We need a chat room!!!! pze!!!!!!

Half of us are allready addicted to the boards!! Make us even more addicted by adding a chat room!! There's more than enough people here all day long to keep it active 24/7.

The problems with chatrooms is that the content is not accessible from the web in general. This means that anything discussed is available only to those there at the point in time it is posted.

For this reason on a forum like this, I don't recommend chatrooms. x2 lol

I don't think ANY one would dare go to a chat room hosted by a messed up wacko on crack!!! The only kind of chat room I could host is an HTML chat room, like this.

I wouldnt like to see a chatroom. I like the posts, you can always look back + it is content. The chatroom wont really draw new members like the threads do.

 

I saw a forum I used to like nearly ruined by a chat room Mod.

 

If the content we generate doesnt sit in the serps then there is no point. Most people find dp through rankings, tool and word of mouth..

 

That was my total concern as well, and the reason I decided against it on my rugby forum.

 

I would be surprised if they didn't have an archive Mod for that.

The last time I was in a chatroom was when afternic.com had one until 2002 I think. That was badass. Lots of flaming though. It gets ugly without any moderation and supervision

 

Chatrooms on a forum are crap...........
