We (at least I) may be recovering from last week's horrible YPN daily stats

I saw the worst daily revenues last week. When i thought things could not get any worse, the next day proved me wrong. I reverted to running Fastclick in order to clean at least part of YPN's mess. Finally, daily stat was better on Friday, then Sat was better than Fri and today (Sunday slowest day of the week on my site) is doing much better than yesterday. A little too early to celebrate but I already started to :) and I might be :D @ the end of the day.

I hope this rate of recovery continues.

I read one on of the threads that YPN ppl said they are doing their best to satisfy publishers, advertisers and and the visitors at the same time and that task of making every1 happy is difficult. They forget to add (... our company and investors come first b4 all above mentioned parties)

I'm in the process of removing YPN ads and putting back adsense. YPN revenue is so so so so so so low.. like 80-90% drop for me.

I am still horrible also, lower now than I have been since joining ypn a year ago.

Why switch now back to AdSense though ? Don't you guys think this is just a Summer curse ? And rates will skyrocket again in mid Sep, once schools start and folks start coming back inside ? Schools start here Sep 4. Aug weather just makes people go outside, most folks do barbecues, lawn mowing, summer activities outside, most normal folks are not on the computers hardly at all in aug.

You can have the best of both worlds... it's called geoip taregtting and serving your non-US visitors adsense...

Yep. It's not a good idea to abandon YPN now, IMO. This is the slowest month of the year for most businesses. Everyone is outdoors and on vacation. Fiscal years are ending, and will renew in a couple of weeks. Advertising budgets will be refreshed...

Things have dropped for me, but not that bad...

    A few months ago I avg'd 50 cents per click, now its between 25 - 30 cents.

But my overall revenue has stayed pretty much the same because I've been focusing on increasing traffic to my site.

This would also have to be the worst month on YPN for me as well. I've seen at most $0.10 ppc this entire month.

I'm working on developing our own advertising system to mix in with yahoo to see if I can pick up the income a bit.

How many websites do you use?

I use two websites and I get $3.75 on one and $1.75 on the other (approximates).. SAME topic

it seems like no matter what kind of topic you use, RPC is determined by Yahoo..

On that account.. 3 sites, 3 different topics.

Maybe.. but I have feeling page content and page title effects it greatly ;)

Do you think Alexa ranking determines RPC also?

I should try same template, but different domain and see what happenes
