Mid December to January was the worst I seen, down up to 50% on pay per click. But now the payouts per click returned to almost normal for me in February, but still down maybe 10%.

you wrote a nice article, but i think that advertising will NOT decrease online. I think more businesses will probably switch to online advertising if their other advertising becomes to expensive. My overall view of the economy and advertising is that it has increased and me and my friends agree on this. Especially the radio!

    Site X, niche Loans.

Adsense CPC: sometimes it gets down to $0,01. Used to get $0,50-$1.
Adwords CPC Campaigns we run to a client at same niche for over 1 year: at least $0,80 to get top 10. Nothing changed.

    You get the idea.

My Adsense income got a huge slap cause i lost some rankings in some old and trusted sites BUT right now i'm switching all my good ranking sites to affiliates. There's no point getting $0,04 clicks at Adsense IF i get the same $0,04 clicks PLUS some pretty good sales using affiliates @ TradeDoubler.

I win twice. Maybe this is really the time to explore affiliates.

I've experienced a massive dip in earnings since Jan. I don't know how much of it is due to the christmas being over though. It will be interesting to see if earnings pick up over the next few months.
