We are running out of IP addresses

    the big pipes are all moving or have already been moved to ipV6 , the unwashed masses like just don't notice anything because their using nats and such to make sure the transition runs smoothly until the day they can just start upgrading large sections of the comunications grid at a time (nat currently translates small sections of ipV6 networks into ipV4 blocks without the user noticing, all the recent broadband networks are ipv6 in nature masked as ipv4 for compatibility) in a couple of years when its safe the change will be almost imediate
