    Some really scary facts. I have heard about this a lot. I hope that the world does not really end by that time. I just love my life too much and would really hate it if it ends so quick.

    And yea, the binary system will end some date too (It had a logic explanation, the theory is that internet will be resetted).

    Chuck Norris: In december 2012 chuck norris will have a birthday party, the problem is that chuck norris will be 54 years old! 54+612=666! That means that chuck norris will be possesed by the devil! He will kill everybody!!!!! That is the reason why the mayan calender will end (Chuck norris was a great maya priest 600 years ago!).

    Do you think smart people always prevail? The Mayan civilization was one of the great civilizations of mankind, with all it's positive and negative aspects. It had a begging and an end. The Roman civilization had a beggining and an end.

    Do you think any of the current great civilizations will prevail? :) With time, a united earth will be governed by 1 goverment. 1 planet, 1 people, 1 civilization. And that will be the end of all current great civilizations...

    Maybe 2012 is the birth of a new era. A New Age.

    Most of the great Mayan cities were abandoned near 900 A.D. That culture was dying long before the Spaniards came,...they just replaced the remnants with their own.
