I definitely don't believe in this. Just because some Aztec calendar stopped there doesn't mean the world will end. Reminds me of the 6/6/06 date. Perhaps I'll create a site getting people all hyped up about 2012, make them think the world will end, then their they will get their friends to think the world will end too, and will show their friends my site. Then I will sell stuff that will help spread the word. No, but seriously, people shouldn't worry, just live life.

Im on the border with this topic...its 50-50.but If to me if something that extreme were to happen and we were pretty much on our death bed....we would be on our last leg, and yes things are bad but not to the point of extinction...but at the same time i have followed 2012 foreverrrr so im kind of on the rocks because anything can happen.....either way im hoping the movie on 2012 is going to be sweet but amanda peet is just a lame actress.....haha
Before you go and say that nothing will happen in 2012, lets not forget that our world changed dramatically on 9/11/01. It wasn't the end of the world, but at the time there were a LOT of people, in New York especially, who thought otherwise. The point is even non-apocalyptic events can have serious consequences for society and the human race. What makes 2012 different, however, is that there are so many little "minor" events that have been predicted and prophesied to occur within a very small window of time (the next few years), any one of which has the potential to impact society as much as, if not more than, 9/11. Solar disturbances, climate change, earthquakes, floods, melting glacial ice, wars, economic problems, etc. These are all occurring now and experts in their respective fields are all saying independently that these problems are escalating. It may not be an extinction level end of the world, but most definately it's the end of the world as we know it.
It will not be the end of the world, but it may be the end of actual world. As you know, magnetic poles become unstable (yeah, it was shown on NG Channel), also "climate change threat" is already on the news. More and more earthquake and survival trainings are on the media. But we should think positive and we'll see then what will happen.
