Solar storm : - i hope you know about dark spots of sun. they will create solar storm ( huge radaition) . this will create a big problem on earth. all communication will be stopped , May be no electricity in the entire world too. Solar storm is predicted by scientists after their researches. and according to them solor storm is on Peak in 2012. 2. Terrorism:- Terrorism may be the one of the biggest problem which may lead wars. Terrrorist have nuclear weapons. i can't say here how they have. 3. Global warming :- it spreads diseases . 4. LHC - many scientist say it may create black holes on earth. THERE are many reasons which may create many problems on earth. Most of problems created by humans. Well if you think that earth will be destoyed then you are wrong. Life of earth may be disturbed. 2012 is too far , we have 3 years to enjoy our life. Try to complete your dreams before 2012
There is a real danger from that comet (i don't remember the name) that comes by very close to our planet in Dec 2012. But let's hope the comet don't affect us at all and we can get our life going
