What makes this prophecy any different than the other apocalyptic projections? We should have all died dozens of times in the last 10 years from other prophecies.
C'mon. Forget these prophecies and stuff. Nothing is real. Lets enjoy life rather than worrying about it
Anyone who knows a little bit of physics will disagree on the north/south pole things, they are actually changing, but very slowly, it takes at least a few million years to change the poles, there's absolutely no way it can be changed in one day. Also, the Mayan prophecy does not say it is the end of the world, it says it's the end of an era, which means things can change, life can get a new meaning, it was never said the word is going to end.
The Mayans were pretty decent at a lot of things, especially their calendar. And although they do predict a large change, don't believe the hype. For obvious reasons, religious people are always looking for the end of the world, even if outside of their religion. Look at it this way: if it means you die, so what? What can you do about it? The best you can do is live life as if you're going to die and take advantage of your "last moments" here on earth. Besides that, don't beat yourself up worrying.
Even if it is the end of th world, I prefer they come after I die. I have business, issues to handle. I have to raise my family. In fact, I don't think that would happen.

Personally , No. The Mayan Calender does not mean anything honestly, if the world was ending modern day scientists would have figured it out a long time ago.

every 10 years another BOZZO says its the end of the world with there date predicted. Nostra Dumass was wrong many time about the end. We are all suppose to be dead by now. His prediction was 2005 I think?
