    I think no one can really predict when the end is. But for sure, that's very possible. Maybe when an an asteroid/comet hits the earth... :(

    This is all based on the mayan calendary, but then again the mayan also thought cortez and his people some kind of centaur creatures because they had never seen a horse before, much less horse ridders, so I wouldn't really put my trust on their accuracy :p

    But if you think about it life on earth is going to end one day right? We cannot continue on earth is shrinking and our population increasing like crazy...

    yes, and speaking of population,our population nowadays are increasing rapidly, that's why birth control is now being implemented even to other religion who does not believe in this kind of method.. or should I say it is now being force to implement to the countries who are against in this policy.

    Remember the "Jupiter Effect"? Y2K? Second Millennial prophecies? Etc., etc.

    All came, all passed, we're still alive. :p

    But I can tell you for sure when the world is guaranteed to end — not the date, that is, but the event. And no, I'm not talking religious interpretations (although I have my own set of those). The world cannot last beyond the time that our sun burns out, as stars tend to do over extremely long periods of time. You and I will not live to see that day. But given enough time, the sun will one day burn out (or some similar cataclysm), thereby making life on earth impossible.

    Do I believe earth will last that long? No.
