    Hi all,

    Since WB has caused quite hype in this forums, I'm questioning about the seriousness of this company...

    If we look at whois.sc, they only have widgetbucks.com until july 2008

    How come a business like WB who are so eager to outperformed Adsense only have their domain for 1 year only...

    And i also check their IP for their hosting...it's 67.88.217.230..the whois.sc records shows that it belongs to XO.COM, a hosting company...

    Seriously...they don't even have their own server...:eek::eek::eek:

    well, i could be mistaken...but,

    Is it only me that see WB as a scam or maybe others have different opinion ?

    I signed up, but I'm starting to question it, although they seem to have some good references on their website, I don't know. This will be a wait and see... wait and see if a check comes that is.

    it's 12:30am, the Red Sox just won and I am going to bed!

    As stated above, we have to wait till payday. That will either confirm or debunk suspicions.

    Can't say for sure but the thing that I find the strangest is that they allow anybody to register without asking for their personal information. I know that its required for payment but still, wouldn't a company want exact information when placing other peoples ads? Its also really strange that people get 25$ for registering.. do they even control multiple accounts etc? I won't say they're a scam or anything but some things really are fishy.

    How is a domain registration length variable in the credibility of a company. Most of my domains I renew year by year...

    I tested their advertisers link a couple of time.. they were dead and leading to amazon'e page.
    Probably they are using some kind of amazon'e affiliation program.
