Still in Development! Please let me know how its going.. Are there any suggestions while I'm early in the game?

Think of a cross between Googe and Yahoo, Simplicity and Style. Thats what I was going for here. Please keep in mind this is the BETA and there WILL be changes. I would appriciate any comments.. My intent is to make this site easy for the users..

Just let me know whattcha think....

A couple suggestions from over here then.

First off, for each business listing, use a .htaccess rewrite so that it's not a query, but rather a 'static' page. Search engines will pick up on this a lot better and it will help when indexing your site. Secondly, maybe include an AJAXified form on the front page to switch between 'search jobs' and 'browse jobs', and in the same respect, use an AJAX switcher between 'brief' and 'detailed'. That way it will be less loadtime on your server and it's faster for the visitor. Good looks overall though. I would move the 'back to results' link to the far left or the far right and not center align it though.

thanks for the advice... i'm not sure how to do a .htaccess ... this site is written in Coldfusion, I'm looking into stored procedure... this may help with the query time.... Yes I would like to use Ajax, just started reading about... Al the examples I find are php.. the coldfusion examples don't show how to use ajax with queries...

    Something for the future...

It's definetly going to keep getting better, just got to get the start first..

If you know any good resources, please let me know...

    Thanks again

Actually, I do. My friend is developing a completely AJAX version for CFM. He's a MM moderator and develops heavily with CFM and Oracle. I don't believe his AJAX form creator is quite ready yet, but if I remember when it's ready, I'll post back here.

I like your header but I think the text are just too small. Perhaps put the logo on the left? I would put more colors to fill in the front page or make the text more bigger and bolder with icons.

yea, i'm not finished with the logo... I'm not sure where to go from here on it.. I've got to just wait and have some vision or something... You know how it is with graphics... sometime things just come to you in a second, and sometime you can work on it for week and nothing good... I'm having real trouble figuring out what to do with the menu.. I kinda want to make them tabs like the ones on the page itself.. but does that make the page confusing - give to many options.. I know the same buttons will be there but at least now the look seperated..

Anyway.. I could use some feedback on the MyWazza! C-Panel.. and registration process... Many people are just going to the main page and saying "looks nice"... well that dosn't help my site function.. I can't use my site like another user would...

It's like working at a resturant.. once you become the staff, you never see the resturant the same as a customer ever again.. You know the way the system works... It's harder to find the trouble areas... A random customer will be able to point out things you could not see.. you know what I mean..

    :D Thanks Again...
