1 Post Great Content:It will help you become established as an authority or expert. It will build trust from your readers, and they will turn to you for quality material. Your readers will post recommendations for your blog on other sites like hubpages, etc.

2 Link Your Pages Together:This tactic will aid in developing a larger readership from the varying sites. You want to add multiple links in the body of your articles, one will be dedicated to your promotion or website, and another as a backlink to an article you have on a different site.

3 Use Your Real Name:You need to build relationships with potential clients, so let them know who you are. This will instill more trust and respect in you, and that should turn into some solid business relationships.

4 Have a Great Profile:The more they feel they know about you, the more apt they will be to do business with you, and follow your articles as well. A picture is also a good idea. People like to see who they are dealing with, and get a sense that they are dealing with someone who is real.

5 Post Regularly:The goal is to get people to keep coming back to check out what you are putting up. That will fade quickly if you are posting once a month or less.

implementing a social media marketing program without optimizing content is leaving money on the table. Useful social content (blog, video, images, audio) that cannot be discovered via search is a lost opportunity to reach an audience that is looking.

the following things are required for the SMO -
RSS feeds, social news and sharing buttons, user rating and polling tools, and incorporating third-party community functionalities like images and videos. I do not agree with your point number 2 & 3.

How if we use the same content posted on our blog on the social media websites. Eg. I will re-post my blog post as Notes on Facebook. Will it harm?
