    The best paid way is to advertise your page inside facebook itself.

    The free ways:

    1- try to put some nice materials on your page.
    2- put your page URL in your websites
    3- some times send some page updates to your page members.

    I agree with you guys - thought the same like you for free and paid, and whole depends on your plan to attract and hold fans on the fan page - regular posts in fan's page with interesting info

    This can be costly to be honest sometimes. I was putting together a campaign yesterday and the suggested CPC was $7!

    i think you should post more and more interesting contents in your fan page. sometimes you should share good videos and photos too. you can also promote your fan page through facebook too. i think you need to pay some money for it.

    I can get you over two hundred likes for your page for ten bucks, over and over again. I think the best way to promote a Facebook page or pages is to be on the first page of Google.

    Well the best is Facebook ads for sure since you get the click right away. But make you finish the site first so you do not advertise for thin air..
