    hi,

Due to all the hype regarding new rules and BST section acting weirdly, I have come up with few suggestions to reduce spamming and scamming in "THE BST" section of DP.

    Please consider them.

    • Increase the number of posts to maybe 50-100, before one can make a post/thread/PM in BST section only.
    • Also, at the same time, increase the amount of time to 20-30 days before making a post in that section.
    • The people who are not eligible be allowed to comment, PM or make a thread of any kind.
    • To prevent spamming of affiliate products via PM, new members shouldn't be allowed to PM for so and so time and posts.
It would be 'n' number of posts+ 'n' time= eligible to post in BST.

Hence, only serious and committed people will wait for that much time and contribute to healthy discussions on DP before being eligible to conduct business.

This is a kind suggestion from a concerned DP'er for it's health and smooth running.

    Hope this helps.

That would be very harsh on the new members.

I don't think increasing the time/posts required slightly is going to make much of a difference to be honest. I don't foresee spammers registering and thinking, "Dammit... 20 days to post. I'm outta here. If only it was 14 I would be happy."
