    Marketing Your Auction Store

I found this site that markets websites but also in particular "Auction Stores". They have an excellent Internet presence and have been marketing since the year 2000.

I have several ads with them for various other sites I have and they come up well in Internet searches. You pay a small fee and you get a permanent advertisement that you never have to update again.

Being part of a site like this gives you good search engine positioning for your selling store.

Just click on "Add Your Site" in the top right hand corner of the site.

    Advertising Your Auction Store

I found this article site that has a section just for marketing “Auction Stores”.
If you write articles about your individual products and then ad your store website url at the end it gives you great advertising back to your web store page. It also gets picked up in RSS feeds, which is spread throughout the Internet.

If you’re not sure what to write articles about you can usually find a product review which you can rewrite and put into your own words and then put your selling store url at the end of it. Its always important that you don’t just copy an article as search engines notice this and then may ban your url so keep this in mind always when submitting articles.

Always check through all categories to choose the most relevant article section where to place your article otherwise your advertising wont reach your target market. This article site has plenty of category choice relevant to auctions.
Never submit the exact same article to other sites as this may ban your url by search engines. Always change the title and content of each article.

This is one of the best ways to market your selling store for “free”.
If you have an auction store you always need to market it out in as many ways as you can to get more results. Sometimes you can do that for free and other times you may have to pay out some fees to get further results.

Having an auction store is a business and everyone needs to market out his or her own business. Never rely on an auction site to do this for you. It’s your business so you must market it out. Relying just on free advertising alone usually wont give you the best results so always look for more options.

You could place an ad in the USFreeAds for items in your store. I use
it for my BANS sites which are eBay auctions. You can be a free member
    or pay $9.95 per month.

Here is what paid members can do:

Premium members can then go on to upload multiple photo's (up to 12 per ad!), insert PayPal instant purchase buttons or link to an existing shopping cart, create multiple new categories for ads to be shown in, create a product catalog, and have access to a whole host of other benefits and selling tools!

For the monthly price its not a bad deal.
