    Hello,


    I have a website for windows 7 details. I am getting solid traffic from google. Its around 200 unique visitors per day. But the problem is i am not getting even a single click from YAHOO. Please advice me do i need to do anything for yahoo to get traffic ?


    It would be appreciable if any body help me in this concern ... :)

    You try to increase backlinks of your website and submit sitemap to yahoo search engine.

    It is really tough to make same traffic from yahoo as well google. becos yahoo users are low compare with google. So google can only provide more traffic than yahoo.

    not only that, one of my friend's website is getting enough hits from yahoo & bing. as you said if yahoo users are low compare with google then how it is happening ?

    I too get little traffic from yahoo and 99% form google. From what I've read google relies more on high pr backlinks and ancher text wheres yahoo doesn't.

    What is your ranking in yahoo? In top 100 or not?
    Try to participate answer.yahoo.com and other yahoo products.
    But no one know that what activity exactly change the ranking on a specific SE.

    I can see that google is crawling by site 3 - 4 times in a day but yahoo & bing 1 - 2 times in a week. windows7-problem.com is my website.

    Yahoo! has many tools for webmaster and several ways of submitting websites. Just add your website to Yahoo and include a site map in order for your website to get indexed.

    Yahoo! Search gives more importance to On-site factors, however backlinks are also important.

    Check your on-site things i.e. Title, META description, content and link placements.

    Also you can't deny the fact that Yahoo! Search has very less traffic now.

    To get traffic on your website is not an easy job but article writing is a very good method to get maximum traffic. I also got sudden increase of traffic on my website through quality articles of mine.
