ways to get many backlinks

I have heard about seo people getting 100+ backlinks per day.
how do they to it.?

The most natural way of getting many backlinks is as seo ranter said: Create a hell of a great content (yes I know its easier said than done), get it submitted to social bookmarking services, i.e. furl, del.icio.us, digg etc

When people come to your site, if they like it, they will bookmark it (i.e. to del.icio.us) or they write a blog post mentioning you site. Multiply this by many many person who did the same, and you got thousands in a day.

Write some great content and you will be successful.

 

If you look at this tracker you can see the articles that are attracting the most links. Some get 20,000 links in a few days to just one blog post.

Pick something you are knowledgeable about and just start writing about it.

 

The social networking sites could not be a direct source for backlinks as they are marked with "no follow" but it difinitely help you to generate good traffic. As seo ranter said if you need natural backlinks you really need good content.

I agree with all the posts! great content/products/services can be very helpful to have natural backlinks..

 

Link bait is definitely a great way to do this, but many other strategies work well also.

I have received a few really great links using the link bait method.

Okay...see if I understand this. "Link Bait" is a type of content. Content that is sufficiently controversial or interesting so that a lot of other people link to it. Is that correct?

If that is the case, then link bait and content pretty much go hand in hand.

 

Thats exactly right. Link bait is the online equivalent of the exclusive stories and interviews that newspapers have. The art of writing good headlines is essential for linkbait and attracting links and this has been done in newspapers for years as well.

Link bait can be either a nice new tool, a tutorial or a breaking news story. In all cases it has to be well written, nicely presented but most of all well promoted.

Some of the best link bait gets left on the shelf because the key people who can give links (bloggers) don't get to see it.

why are you focusing the quantity of the backlinks like 100+/day? i prefer one pr 8 backlinks instead of 100 pr 2 backlinks

 

For example 100+ backlinks can be done by submitting to directories. It can be time consuming, but you have 100 links.

Create a blog and get it listed in blog directories. And Write regular news releases and submit them to topic-related web sites and Internet news wires such as PRWeb and Business Wire.

 

I have said this in other posts but to get links is not difficult but it takes work.

1. write 1-2 articles a weeks, distribute to about 500 article directories or more with your researched keywords in the bio. These articles will provide one way links, if written well others will download the articles and use them on their sites which will give you more one way links.

2. post to directories and make sure your researched keywords are in the title

3. post to forums and in your signature have links with your keywords.

4. post to blogs

5. write unique content and only place it on your site with your researched keywords in the body of the content pointing to other relevant unique content on your site only.

6. link exchange, really don't like this but you can do it. Becareful who you exchange links with, put keywords in title.
Don't worry about how many links, just keep doing this, stay positive, results don't happen the next day. It takes time, but in time you will see better ranking in the search engines and page rank going up.

7. write press releases, I do this every so often, but it does work.

But this is what I use to do the following:
1. I use articlemarketer . com- I like them because they continually send your articles to article sites that sign up. So if you distribute your article today, 4 days from now 10 new article sites sign up and articlemarketer will distribute your article to the new signups, so you keep getting more links without doing anything.

2. I use submit eaze to submit to free and paid directories - I like them because they add new directories every two weeks so you can continually submit to them. The downside is that it is semi automated

3. writing articles - I use my brain and ms word.
