for wikipedia---truthfully, if your website is not connected to the content don't waste your time. Along with the nofollow, you'd have to survive un-noticed before someone deleted your site....and most of the choice pages are watched carefully.

most directory bring no traffic. If you are smart with keyword, you can use social bookmark site to fool SE because they are trusted
