Ways to get e-commerce website ranked

Seeing the present scenario in Search Engine Optimization, several new Google Updates etc, what are your add-ons in the current ways of optimization especially for an e-commerce website...

only one anchor text use off page submission as :- directory submission, article submission, blog submission, forum posting, etc.

 

for e-commerce website , most of people miss out in SEO is optimize their own size.
They too aggressive and focus on building backlink but they forget the most important thing which is onsite SEO.
Why ? lot of e-commerce website come out with lot of image of products but forget to set the image alt which allow google to know what the image content is all about and it help you to appear the product keywords density more and it help much in SEO.

 

Leveraging images on an e-commerce site is huge. Both from a google image perspective as well as pinterest now. Also the general coding of the site including framerwork, speed, meta, alt tags, title tags, etc. If your theme isn't coded correctly then you can backlink all day and you wont get the pop your expecting.

 

Thanks for bringing this up, I think Social Media is one of the best way in promoting e-commerce website. Like creating page in socials site. This will help in advertising your site.

 

Analsa has given quite an interesting tips. If I were you, i wouldn't rely on mods mostly. Manually, I can do great SEO, why go for mods and stuff. But yes, they do save time, when it comes to link parsing and all

I'll suggest you to focus on advertising and try selling your products rather than focusing on getting it ranked first. Build publicity by selling your products.

 

You should invest money in your shop. Make good advertising.

Also you should follow all Google search engine's news, updates and requirements.

I think SEO tips can help you to keep your site on ranking. However, if you want to promote your business locally then advertisements can work in better ways. Paper advertisements and TV advertisements are also very helpful for local business.

 

Seo strategics will definitely help u in getting a page rank .
but after looking at the new google algorithm u should not work for your keywords but for your url.

I think that if you perform good SEO for you website this can increase it's rank by itself . Along with that,
basic promotion as well as social media can be a huge help to bring traffic to your website.

 

Make good internal navigation
home page->links to all categories or at least major categories
from main categoriy page link major products in this category
put related products link in all product pages
build back links to home page and to main category page
film video reviews for major cateogries and products and share them in youtube
place a backlink to your pages in youtube video description
install webmaster tools on site and monitor site position.

 

For getting the E commerce website ranked you must do the ONPAGE and OFFPAGE optimization of your website.The home page of your page must be attractive and you must do the offpage seo of your website some activities are directory submission,classifieds,bookmarking,article submission etc.
