Ways To Earn Revenue From Blog

Hi all,

I took a break from blogging, but have decide to restart. Recently started a new blog (http://www.the-newest-music.blogspot.com/). I was just wondering, nowadays, what are some good ways to make revenue from blogs? I currently have Google Adsense, but I'm sure there are alot more programs out there.

PS. Does anyone know why my Google Ads have nothing to do with music?

 

Before we move on, switch to a more professional blog platform. I highly reccommend WordPress self hosted

 

You can use inlinks, text link ad, adbrite , kontera...and more and offcouse the Google Adsense the HERO in the PPC.

 

Have you tried removing the Google ads and then replacing them? I read somewhere if they crawl your site before you are totally finished adding your content, you may not get the relevant ads.

 

also consider affiliate sales, ie... commission junction, clickbank etc.

 

Yes i know why your ads is not music related.
It coz by you only submit your application to create a new adsense account.
Before they approve your account,your ads will be showing public service ads which mean you can't earn anything from the ads

 

You can also use other ad network.

 

I agree with Contrarian and I suggest that you should organize your music list, so it isn't scrambled when you have too many songs.

 

You can try adsdaq which pays u more.

 

Google adsense is a greatway, but isn't always the best to make income. Unless your receiving many hits/visitors a day. But can have a great crawler and will give you many uniques when it works. I would advise trying adbrite or kontera as someone else suggested otherwise stick with adsense if the others don't help much.

 

Spend $10 and purchase your own domain, use wordpress blogging platform, the monetization possibilites are endless with a self hosted blog on your own domain. When you use free hosts (Wordpress,Blogger) your limiting yourself.

 

It doesn't matter whether your blog is free (blogspot) or paid one (wordpress, third party hosted) but it is better to have your own blog. Then comes the contents and traffic. To attract traffic, you need unique contents and start the blog in high paying niche so that the returns will be handsome. Try building traffic and it is needless to say that traffic is money.

It does matter because your blog could get deleted and or blocked with no explanation. They don't need to give you a justifiable reason either because it's on their server. Make sense?

 

If your site is just new then paid blogging is your best choice. You could try some affiliate programs if you have the money to advertise it.

I think you should try text links ads or some paid posts program instead of Adsense.
But just like other program, your blog traffics and content is the main component to earn through your blog.
