Ways to advertise image hosting?

What are some ways of advertising image hosting, other then stumble upon , digg etc.

It has PR4 so it should SEO well, is SEO the only way really for traffic to these types of sites?

If you could get a review from a popular webmaster blog, that could be great exposure.

 

Get the word out to people who use image hosting sites...aka forum-goers.

Try doing a paid sticky advertisement on http://www.offtopic.com (#9 biggest forum in the world) sometime. I remember someone doing an advertisement for their own image hosting site and their traffic exploded within a few days. If you've got the money and the guts, try to make it go viral.

Just uh, fix that big broken image on your front page first.

 

What broken image? I was upgrading site you might have caught between updates

 

try twitter and pownce, they will allow you to capture more eyeballs and create loyal uploaders hopefully

 

Hmmm never used twitter ill try it any other suggestions?

 

A good way is to link to your images on forums, websites. Usually when people go to the image they will end up at your site, so that's a good method of advertising it...

 

try getting hold of some myspace comment website using photobucket n give them some incentive to use ur site... n know what ur site might be more fameous than photobucket in some time..
