Hi, I need your suggestions and ideas thorugh which i can monetize my following sites:- http://www.secgeeks.com [PR6] http://www.newskicks.com [PR4] if i offer banner ads then will anyone here is interested here?also wht charges i should keep?any other ideas are also welcome.I tried adsense but i gave up as i was not getting good money and my site was looking bad due to that.
I am unsure of the going prices for such things, though you could head down to the Buy/Sell/Trade forums and compare similar sites. Alternatively you could just start a post or two down there and sell monthly to the highest bidder. Of course your income would very month by month, but after a while you'd certainly be able to get a set standard for yourself and start selling then on a quarterly or yearly basis. I actually suggest doing both, if for no other reason then to figure out your base starting bid, and your BIN prices. Best of luck! Q
What about selling links (using services like Textlinkads.com)? Then there's naturally the buyselltrade forums like Qryztufre mentioned.
Ok, the full list of ways for monetizing your sites could be too long as there are almost infinity of ways to do it. Here is a quick pick of ways for you that just popped on my head : 1. Adsense which could be combined with all the following without breaking the TOS 2. Kontera 3. Chitika 4. Amazon products 5. Auction ads 6. Sell banners like top spot, etc... 7. Sell text links, you have good PR so go use it 8. Recommend products or services as an affiliate which are relevant to your topic, write reviews on them to sell 9. Sell paid blog posts, reviews 10. Offer keyword anchored links in posts (like contextual v7n, etc...) Enough for you to start with although there are plenty more ways
Then instead of adsense use other advertising networks like casale media, tribal fusion, etc... There are plenty of them. They pay you on CPM level, not for clicks which might be better for you depending on a site traffic volume.
Yep, textlinkads and textlinkbrokers may be a good start. Not something I would really use from the thing that Google is trying to do with selling and buying text links, but you could give it a go.
