I'm new to all of this, but am getting a plan ready to re-vamp my old website. I'm also not sure if this is the best forum for this question, or if it's even possible. I want to reward my subscribers with a "point" system. The points would be generated based on how much they spend on my affiliate links. My question: Is it possible to track how much an individual account generates? Places like Amazon also give you commissions on items your customers buy within 24 hours of them clicking a link; Would it also be possible to track these items, although they may not be a direct purchase from a a link on my site? Basically, I want to reward my subscribers with points based off the amount they spend on my affiliate links. However, if they buy an item and return it, I want to make sure they don't get credit for it. Any suggestions?
You should get stats and store them in database so during an order you can introduce a discount. Google analytics might help you track customers behaviour like time, bounce rate, aff links surfed etc.
