I using Nokia 910i. Monochrome LCD, and I can send SMS free by secret code: *#746025625# This code checks if the sim clock can be stopped. Sim clock stop is a kind of stand-by mode which will save battery time, and some PBX's you can send SMS free. This code doesn't work with phone software version 4.59
910i? Never heard of it...maybe because we in europe have different types.. Do you have a picture of the phone?
He probably meant Nokia 9110, don't think anyone uses those anymore though; http://www.mphone.co.uk/nokia/9110i.html
I don't think so, handphone functionality has no way to influence the billing which is controlled by the telco you are using. So I seriously doubt the free SMS information.
*#746025625# hmm i bet this is for transfering credit A similar scam was in my country ... way back few years ago ...
