Hi, While I was transferring $25.5 to a seller, I guess I entered $255 So, is there some way of getting back that payment without raising a dispute or having to ask the person to send it back???? Thanks!!
No, you should open a dispute inside paypal and message the seller about it and work it out the normal way. No place in Paypal where you can withdraw money once sent, then everyone would try that the whole time. Wouldn't work. So answer to your question is: No, you can't without opening a dsipute and talking about it.
you can ask the person to send your payment back its a human mistake.................................i think he will return your money in good faith
Its better to ask him to refund your money or if he doesn't agrees for it then you can open a dispute. And do it fast. - Mr.President -
Try to sort the thing between you and the receiver , is he is not budging raise a dispute But before that keep all the mails and conversatiosn you have had with the seller handy Do post back and tell all of us if you got your monehy back will be a valuable tip for all of us
Just open a dispute or first try to send your seller to return back the amount coz you have accidentally click the wrong amount if he agrees then you wont resort anymore to dispute but if he ignores your conversation then better choose dispute am sure you can recover back the amount you have sent him
If you have sent the payment to the person you trust, ask him/her to refund that extra amount. It would be the simplest and painless way to get back the money. Otherwise, open a dispute.
If your seller is a genuine and honest person, he will surely return you the excess money paid... on intimation but if he does not, raise a charge back and claim the full refund since he is not fit to receive even the $ 25 that you owe him! Regards, RightMan
i would say open a dispute and do the discussion there itself so paypal knows the whole story he will refund it if he is a legit seller
if you're trying to buy from an honest and cool seller....just tell him what happened, im sure he'll give the money back, else, dispute it
