Way of Tracking DigitialPoint Ad Conversions?

I'm not sure whether this is something you can help with (or even if it's possible)- but is there a way of using some kind of third party software to track how many conversions/sales are generated directly through DigitalPoint advertising? We have a variety of traffic sources.

What are you currently using to track conversions? Things like Google Analytics should be able to differentiate them for you inherently...

    Shawn,

At present we do not have any form of system in place- it's just something we're looking into due to recent growth.

Will clearly need to do some research with Google Analytics.

    Thanks,

Ya... just check out goal tracking within Google Analytics. Might do exactly what you are wanting.

    Hey,

I am guessing there is still no way to track?

How can you configure goal setup to do this? I have tried looking for a guide - for some reason I can't seem to get goal tracking working to track sign up conversions from DigitalPoint Ads.

How exactly are you trying to set it up? You definitely should be able to...

Trying to use the start URL of the goal as the UTM link which includes 'digitalpoint' in it and then the end of the goal after a user has completed registration. Says 0% would have happened in the past.

I tried changing it so that if anyone has visited the registration page and it still said 0%. So I am doing something wrong I am sure.

I think goals only log going forward from when you define it. I don't think they are retroactively calculated.

Yeh but when you create a goal it mentions something like 'this goal would have been called X% of the time in the past 30 days' to give you an idea if you have setup your goal correctly.
