    Hi,

I have a wav file that is too big to put on one CD. Do you know of any free software that will convert it to a size that will fit onto a CD?

    Thanks for any help.

    Col :)

Well Wavepad is the best software i have ever had. I had a nokia wherein i could only have .wav ringtones. So i have mastery in making ringtnes and Wavepad is the one i use.

Siple to use. You just have to change the bitrate. And the is reduced to almost half of the original one. More reduction in bitrate, lesser the size but themn there will be a bit loss of Quality ass well. It can also convert any music file to any one you want. :)

It's easily available on net. Go grab it :)

Sharat I am not sure it will work this way.. wavepad reduced the file size but not the file playing time.

I think best solution is to cut the file in 2 and put it on 2 cds instead of one.

Ohh....I misinterpreted that. I thought he had problem with the size of the wav file :0

If it's just the length of the video, then i am afraid that either you cut the file into parts or buy a 99 minutes cd as mentioned above ;)

Wavepad can actually cut the file into parts as well :)

Thanks for pointing it out Rubeina :)
