    This idea of working harder and making the same or less money seems to be a mantra that has been hitting the media this week. By that I mean, a lot of employees are being warned that their salaries maybe cut in the near future.

    In the state I live in, California, this has already happened to many nurses and health care workers. Their salaries were cut in 2008, due to California's budget crisis.

    I guess what I am pointing out here, is that if you are working the same hours a week to generate less Google adsense revenue - you are taking a cut in salary right now!

    But I agree with what others have said - sharpening our websites today, will make them more productive when the economy rebounds.

    Hello,

    As I said we are in internet, it is differnet than nurses, doctors, etc, if we work more and more adding content, we can grow we have not roof, as I said time to work hard to get more money in the future :)

    Somehow agree with Jakomo - in most cases (white hat SEO, and everything legal) one should have a good look in future just because the results do not appear at the same time when work is done... be it during some so called "crisis" or not.
    After all this is internet and working now for something which will bring, be it direct sales, ad-clicks traffic, whatever... after few years is absolutely normal.

    Yes, it is hard time for the financial business, but still I think the crisis is mostly rumors & panic; ESPECIALLY PANIC! nothing more.

    My earnings have been steady but a few og my blogs that are aimed at a specific niche have went through the roof!! I was earning maybe $75/month if I was luck on this one network of blogs but now its nearing $250, traffic is the same and clicks are around the same.
