Wats ur Experience with Adsense since economic crisis.

Hi Friends,
My present condition at adsense is becoming bad.Since from late economic crisis my earnings are reduced month-to-month.
Where i used to earn 500$ and above now it has been only 175$ .
The earnings are decreasing, i observed one thing that click on an average are same but the click cost getting to me is low.
Im experimenting with Adbrite with some of my sites including my blogs.Hope i earn with that !

Currently now im penetrating myself into affiliate marketing since ppc had become shit!

Definitely decreasing for me in January. Down by around a half

Earnings for me are pretty much on par. I haven't seen a big change on that front.

I've been gradually phasing out Adsense from my sites so naturally my earnings will decrease anyway.

 

CPC increased for me in the past two weeks for some reason. However, I removed the ads for a week and then placed them on my website again.

It really depends a lot on the niche. It could be that your website performed well and that you now got smart priced by google. That usually means that your CPC drops greatly wheras your CTR is staying the same.

Since the economic crisis, my account was banned due to them detected invalid clicks.
While I did not ever do something like that, I should've done that before getting banned. lol.

Well, off to find alternative adsense.

 

August $0.50 per click > January 2009 $0.10 per click. Guess it says it all.

Either I'm smartpriced or Adsense is really bad nowadays.

 

My daily earnings dropped from around $10 - $20 to less than $10. Hopefully it will get better and better.

Yes the earnings generated through Adsense programs are showing a sharp decline. At the same time I also found not many click-throughs are happening through Adwords either to my pages.

 

there is a sharp decline in earnings and it is bound that people is thinking what can get you more then adsense in these crisis days. But is there any thing equal to adsense yes there are but i dont think they perform in practical.

October, 2008 - $37.27
November, 2008 - $40.92
December, 2008 - $29.08
January, 2009 (projection) - $34.17

Hmmmm... Maybe, but I believe I had a "Xmas effect" only, because almost all blogs and sites are in Portuguese and in Brazil December and January are vacation period to many people. Only in mids of February I'll have sure about something (or not ).

I've had a huge drop in earnings this month.

 

Im new in this business and just started to earn, so i cant compare how was before.

 

Like many others I'm seeing around a 70% reduction in earnings. 2009 is going to be a hard year for everyone, I'm going to have a go with Amazon affiliates and see how that works out.
