As the owner of a gadget blog, I have access to lots of press images.

Am I allowed to slap on a watermark to protect the images from getting stolen or would that violate a companies TOS?

If you own rights the the image do whatever you want with it.

I wouldnt watermark stuff I didnt own but I see a lot of sites do it.

Yea, thats what I'm wondering Shoemoney. I don't believe that I own a press image even though I have the right to use it.

I too have seen others do this and wonder if modifying the images would get me into hot "legal" water.
