I've had a couple requests wanting to know how I make my watermarks like this: if there's enough interest I'll do a quick photoshop tutorial if not I won't bother so please let me know vanessa.
Layer.. with white text -> bevel effect > light opacity.. is that how you did it? I think its a good tutorial for beginners (they don't know how to do it) so its worth a shot to release it!
that's not how I do it but I did try that and the effect is very similiar the way I do it, once it's finished it only takes one step to watermark images - very, very simple it IS a very simple tutorial and I bet there are even dozens out there already that use the same or similiar technique I was just wondering if it's worth my time, really vanessa.
Does it take long to write? Around 30 minutes max eh? If you have a tutorial site, I would add it in, if not.... there's no need to make one
And if you create a new Action (recording each step) while you do it, then it's only a click of the mouse to create it each time.
you could also create a text layer with black text, duplicate that layer, change the text color to white (doesn't matter which one's on top or not just as long as one is black and one is white) and change both layer modes to "soft light" and then nudge one of the layer up and over one or two px
yes i would like to know add in a how to make a mirror effect graphic and you have something worth doing.
zander, simply do either method that 8everything or i had mentioned and record it in the actions palette. it's fairly simple.
http://becomearobot.com/blog/how-to-make-the-sun-ray-effect/ that tutorial talks about actions a little bit.
It will help the newbies at Photoshop, but I think most people will be able to figure it out themselves anyway
