Anybody using keywords: water4gas, water for gas or run water car ????

I think google may have stopped showing ads for these keywords!

do you get ads when you search for "water4gas"?

Wonder what Google's reasoning is for that. Maybe copyright infringement?

That's why it's always good to have some bum marketing campaign as a back up safety.

I've done okay with water4gas but never used PPC with it. Article marketing and web 2.0 - I do find refunds are kind of high though (nearly 20%).

This what google says about water4gas keyword.

Your ad isn't being shown for this keyword because there may be other ads that are ranked higher and have similar keywords.

    What does this mean?
To prevent double-serving, only one ad per advertiser may appear on a given page per keyword.

If you are using direct linking, that means you have display url competition. To avoid that you need to create your own landing page.

That doesn't explain though why some of these keywords now have no ads.

This is really scary in my opinion. This could be signs of the end of adwords revenue for affiliate type programs. I hope that this is an isolated incident, or even a temporary mistake. But people have been warning that Google would soon be squashing all affiliate programs.

Errm no it's not the end of adwords for affiliates.

Why? Because as long as you provide the user with the content they want then you'll be absolutely fine

I do not think that google would make a total ban on affiliate ads. It is better to market some genuine useful products though .
