There are three numbers to watch, (1) Visitors; (2) Click-through (3) Convert. Each visitor to your website or landing page doesn't translate to clickthrough or hops to Water4Gas. A clickthrough rate of 20-30% is actually very good on natural traffic, that's my current rate. Based on your numbers, with 100 visitors each day, that's 700 visitors each week, you make 2-4 sales. Assume your clickthrough rate is 50% and is better than mine, that's 350 hops, it tells me your conversion rate is around 100 hops per sale. So with 1000-3000 visitors and 500-1500 hops per day, the number of sales should be around 5-15. Now you see the picture, there is no easy money, to make a sell on a product suspect to scams is not as easy as you may think.
gem you have a point there, but still the keyword "water fuel" "water powered car" "run car on water" and others are sellin at 2$+ from adwords so 2 time 15 is 30$ with is about what you make for a sale (33.92) so the N1 google publisher pays 33$ for 16 click, from wich he must have a convertion rate of 1 -15 for a sale to even make any profit, and there are so many ads around. I deal with SEO, tryed Adwords and didnt work out.
mercuryyy Yea, Adwords is really tough. I am trying to figure it out right now, and I hope to see good results soon.
bl4ckman you should go with long tail keywords i dont see any other why, the big boys are already getting high CTR and paying less for high ranking you can never beet them. well you can if your good e-naf
mercuryyy "well you can if your good e-naf" Exactly. Don't underestimate yourself, and make gurus "too strong" for you. There is always space for newcomers, and if you have right knowledge, you can beat your competitors.
Well, it's a good thing I don't do Adwords I use Free methods my friend....completely free methods. I'm only going to start using PPC to increase my income exponentially.
