So 2 question: do you think this is true (and not just someone trying to get to TV)? And would you drive one of these?

It is true. The technology is known as a hydrogen fuel cell. There is a large US company called General Hydrogen who are developing this technology for domestic usage - they already run a fleet of buses powered by the cells. It's also not that new... been around for the last decade at least.

Actually its a totally new concept and with the help of this H fuel cell oxygen is also being produced in space shuttles. It was under research to make some vehicles which could use them to run on streets.... Hope their efficiency meets humans satisfaction :)

Wow, that is awsome. This is not typical hydrogen engines, it's differnt, compact and eco-friendly. No external fuel ups needed. Just carry a bottle of water with you.

I want to invest money in that company.

    Thanks for sharing.

Things have to go in that direction. Also electric cars, solar cars, hydrogen cars are fulfilling those winds of change.
