Anybody following this? Apparently a chemical plant blew up on the banks of a major river in China, dumping chemicals that are 100x beyond international safety limits. They've shut off the water in a bunch of the cities that the chemicals are flowing towards, but it's something like a 50 mile strip of toxic waste heading into major cities. http://www.guardian.co.uk/china/story/0,7369,1649063,00.html
Yea, its heading towards Russia and they expect it to hit some large town in 12 hours or something. China would not even tell what kind of chemicals these are.
What's interesting is there are no images available of this mess, and the governemnt isn't saying what caused the explosions in the first place, which apparently happened 10 days ago.
