Watching Little Britian

So here I am working on a Saturday (I usually try to not work on the weekend), and I just turn on the TV in the office just to have some background noise.

I was watching the Apprentice, then just left it on as I went back to work. Little Britian came on. I never watched that show before but I can't help but keep laughing.

I didn't realize it was a short skit show and it suits a low attention span perfectly. I might start watching it all the time now.

I will start having to schedule a few hours of TV time at night. I think I gave up on watching new (new to me) british comedies after:

    Peter Kays Pheonix Nights
The Royals (I think thats it, where they live in a trailor)

Both were supposed to be hillarious but I didn't last 5 minutes on either one

Little Britian lives up to the hype ;)

yfs1: Aw, shame about Phoenix Nights, love that show SO much :D The Royals...? Nah, don't know it *shrugs* But LIttle Britain just rocks... Tom Baker's voiceovers are just SO surreal...

Mella: Yeah but, no, but, yeah, but did you see the show "The Real Little Britain" which showed all the real-life characters Matt Lucas & David Walliams based the show on...? From "the only gay in the village" to that tranny on the bike... awesome LOL

I not really a fan of Little Britian, some of it is ok, if there is something I would watch it's "The League of Gentlemen" which I find much better :)

Although you either love it or hate it, you need a odd sense of humor to enjoy it :)

I really like Peter Kay but for some reason that show doesn't do anything for me.

Max and Paddys Road to Nowhere is really funny

Nothing compares to I'm Alan Partridge though ;)

Bwhahahaha. You're right about that. Even just looking at him creases me up.

Alan: "And now it's Dave Clifton in his fictional nightclub"
Dave: "Better than sitting in a fictional bath Alan"
Alan: "Not as bad as having fictional listeners Dave"

Steve coogoan is in the process of filming Alan Partridge the Movie....

Victoria Beckham to star in Partridge movie...

Story courtesy of ContactMusic, thanks to Gordon Brown for finding it!

Victoria Beckham is set for a big break in the movie industry after landing a role in Alan Partridge: The Movie.
The fictional radio DJ - famous as the comedy alter-ego of funnyman Steve Coogan - is hitting the big screen after the enduring popularity of his UK TV sitcoms Knowing Me, Knowing You With Alan Partridge And I'm Alan Partridge.

The former Spice Girl will play a demanding diva character to be interviewed by Partridge in the movie, a scene which brings the Norwich Nights DJ back on air.

A movie insider says, "The scripts for Partridge are obviously under wraps and writing is still in progress, but Victoria's part is pretty much done and dusted.

"She'll be the interviewee that finally allows Alan back on the airwaves with an incendiary chat and her part calls for some serious comic timing.

"She'll add glamour to the project and prove she's able to take the p**s with the rest of them, it's a brilliant move for her."

The movie - which is being filmed in London, Los Angeles and around owl sanctuaries in Norwich - is set to hit cinemas early 2007.
