Hey, today i logged into my email finished reading all my messeges i thought i'll check my junk box and i saw a message from: as you see it has the ! sign which means high priority i went in there and i found: i knew it might be just a scam trying to get my info i went clicked and it showed me the exact page of paypal but look at the url http://62.81.199.20.static.user.ono.com:82/cmd_run/index.php thank god i didn't login with my info i emailed and notified paypal right away people please don't lose your info!!!!! i just hate hackers and BTW my account wasn't limited Thanks!
LOL, yeah I'm sure they're really trying to scam you... do you know how EASY it is to fake an email address? On top of this, do you really think that PayPal would a. risk everything they got (millions of dollars of revenue) for a stupid scam and b. do you think that they can't access your account? 'cause the truth is they CAN access ANYONE's account, take their card details and what not. But they wont.
a. i don't get this point ...? b. Who can access my account the hackers? hell no i never gave my info to anyone + paypal is secured if they can access my account they would just take away all my money wouldn't they?
Thanks for the heads up. But, there's so many phishing emails going, this thread won't stop much from happening. Judging from the log I've seen, not too many people have fallen victim to the email and I doubt that many more will.
fakies i get them everyday.... its so boring for me now.... i get ebay, bank of america and many other fakies also...
well right now i am safe from receiving these mail but dont even want them also i dont click on links from email
For your own safety it is advisable to login to your any financial related account either bank or payment processing like paypal,MB etc through new webpage and with https always. Never click any link provided by them in email just for your own security. DON.
The best thing is to ignore such mails. Even if genuine you can check your account status by logging into paypal rather than rely on email confirmation. Also paypal has enlisted guides on how to identify phishing mail. It is good to see email providers equipped with technology to mark these mails as junk.
